Trump Supporters Mocked For ‘Million MAGA March’

Nov. 14 - Supporters of President Donald Trump who are contesting the results of the election will be taking to Washington D.C. exactly one week after President-Elect Joe Biden was declared the victor to protest—but the groups attending the event are finding themselves the subjects of laughter on social media.

The rally is set following more complaints by both the President and his supporters that millions of illegal votes were cast in favor of Biden, in an attempt to cast doubt on the validity of his impending presidency. The President has also refused to concede the election, and supporters have reportedly been arriving in the nation’s capital for the march throughout the morning, KRQE 13 reported.

DC riots show why liberals ought not negotiate with antifa terrorists

Nov. 15 - No matter how much President Trump rage-tweets his way through tirades rejecting the results of the election, come hell or high water, he will leave the White House on Jan. 20. More people voted for President-elect Joe Biden than for any other candidate in the nation's history, and barring some tragic accident, he will become our 46th president come next year.
All of this makes the "Million MAGA March" both strategically inane and physically reckless and the antifa response to it so incredibly telling. Outside of the very, very far from 1 million men who descended on the capital to rally for Trump, Washington is home to fewer Trump supporters than you would find in any single small town in a very purple area. Barely more than 18,000 city residents, or 5.5% of this year's turnout, voted for Trump, with nearly 93% of voters casting their ballots for Biden.

And yet, the march has been met with extraordinary left-wing violence not just against the protesters, but also against random residents and businesses in one of the bluest cities of America. Biden has repeatedly condemned antifa violence and called for unity in the wake of his election, and yet, left-wing rioters have harassed and violently assaulted Trump supporters as well as the surrounding people and places, presumably all proudly Biden-supporting, and for what? Trump was supposed to lose, and then, the violence was supposed to stop. But clearly, that was never the case, and it's an excellent instruction in why nobody, including the liberals who won Biden both the primary and presidency, should ever negotiate with terrorists.    continue to read

Nov. 14 - In the first public remarks since Joe Biden was widely projected the winner last Saturday, Donald Trump insisted on Friday that he would never put the US into a Covid-19 lockdown, but said “time will tell” if another administration takes office in January and does so.

This is the closest he has come to acknowledging that President-elect Joe Biden could succeed him.

Amid a crush of new infections that has pushed daily case counts to record highs, Trump said he expects a coronavirus vaccine to be available for the entire population as soon as April.     continue to read

President Trump provided an update on his administration’s Operation Warp Speed COVID-19 vaccine initiative. The president said the vaccine would be ready for distribution in the coming weeks to high-risk Americans, frontline workers and the elderly. He added that the vaccine would be available to the general population as soon as April 2020. The president also discussed the economy and coronavirus restrictions stating, “this administration will not go, under any circumstances, to a lockdown.” He was joined in the White House Rose Garden by Vice President Pence, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and the heads of Operation Warp Speed.

Department of Homeland Security calls election "the most secure in American history"

Nov. 13 - A top committee made up of officials from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and its election partners refuted President Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud and irregularities in a statement Thursday, calling the election "the most secure in American history."

The big picture: Trump has refused to concede to President-elect Joe Biden and is pursuing lawsuits in a number of states with baseless claims of voter fraud. The public statement from the president's own Department of Homeland Security undermines his narrative and is sure to infuriate him.

What they’re saying: “There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes or was in any way compromised," members of the Election Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council (GCC) Executive Committee said in a statement.

• Voting systems were made secure through pre-election testing, state certification of voting equipment and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s certification of equipment.
• The joint statement acknowledged “opportunities for misinformation” and urged voters to seek out election officials as “trusted voices.”

Between the lines: This government statement about the election being secure should be unremarkable, Axios' Jonathan Swan notes.

• But the sad reality is it’s a dangerous document for the officials who wrote it.
• Every person who had a hand in writing it will almost certainly face the wrath of Trump and his inner circle in the White House.

Driving the news: CISA director Christopher Krebs has told associates he expects to be fired after he angered the White House by debunking election misinformation promoted by Trump online, Reuters first reported Thursday.

• The White House also asked Bryan Ware, assistant director for cybersecurity at CISA, to hand in his resignation, which he did on Thursday, according to Reuters.    source

BREAKING: Huge Legal Victory for President Trump in Pennsylvania

Nov. 13 - A judge in Pennsylvania has ruled in favor of the Trump campaign after concluding that ballots received after 8 p.m. on Election Day that were segregated should not be counted.

The judge also determined that Kathy Boockvar, the Pennsylvania secretary of the Commonwealth, lacked the “statutory authority” to change election law days before the election.

“[The] Court concludes that Respondent Kathy Boockvar, in her official capacity as Secretary of the Commonwealth, lacked statutory authority to issue the November 1, 2020, guidance to Respondents County Board of Elections insofar as that guidance purported to change the deadline in Section 1308(h) of the Pennsylvania Election Code […] for certain electors to verify proof of identification, based on Secretary Boockvar’s interpretation and application of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s decision in Pennsylvania Democratic Party v. Boockvar,” Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt’s ruling reads. “Accordingly, the Court hereby ORDERS that Respondents County Boards of Elections are enjoined from counting any ballots that have been segregated.”     continue to read

President Trump Shares Misleading Video, Falsely Calls Into Question Ballot Collection In California

Nov. 11 - President Donald Trump tweeted a misleading and previously fact-checked video on Wednesday, falsely calling into question ballot collection in Los Angeles. 

The clip shows Los Angeles County election workers legally collecting ballots from an authorized drop box on Nov. 4, the day after Election Day, which county election officials said was standard procedure. They noted all drop boxes were closed and locked at 8 p.m. on Election night.
 
PolitiFact last week debunked a headline attached to the same video, which went viral on TikTok. The headline said the clip showed evidence of election "cheating," in California.

When Trump shared the video today, he suggested there was wrongdoing by adding: "You are looking at BALLOTS! Is this what our Country has come to?"..

...A TikTok video on Nov. 4, the day after Election Day, suggested there was "cheating" for Joe Biden in California because some ballots weren’t collected until he had already been declared the winner in that state over President Donald Trump on Election Night.

The viral video was headlined: "This video was just taken (11/04) by a friend in California. The cheating is unreal!!!"
California did collect ballots on Nov. 4. But it was standard procedure, not any sign of cheating, to collect and then process ballots from drop boxes on that day.
 
Notably, California accepts mail-in ballots up to 17 days after Election Day, as long as they are postmarked by Nov. 3.      source

Washington Post hosted a virtual discussion with Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) and Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) on the 2020 election results. The senators discussed elections results in Pennsylvania and what they mean for the commonwealth moving forward. Sen. Casey called the Trump Campaign’s legal challenges in Pennsylvania “desperate” and said the president is “engaged in a racist attack on Philadelphia.” Sen. Toomey discussed potential Biden Administration legislative goals and the timeline of the transition.

And the Top Contenders for Biden’s Cabinet Are…
Biden’s final picks could ultimately hinge on two runoff Senate races in Georgia, which will determine who controls the upper chamber.

Nov. 11 -Even as U.S. President Donald Trump refuses to concede his loss in the 2020 election—and even appears to be preparing for a second term in office—President-elect Joe Biden is carrying forward with plans for a transition to the White House in January. 

Over the course of a contentious election cycle, Biden made clear his direction for the country on the global stage if he won the presidency, signaling a return to multilateralism and repairing relationships with some of Washington’s closest historic allies. How he does so depends a lot on how he staffs his administration. (As the old adage in Washington goes, personnel is policy.)

Whom he’s able to get through Senate confirmation hinges in large part on who controls the Senate, and Republican control of the chamber depends on two heated runoff races in Georgia in January. “They shouldn’t have to factor in at all, but they will. I think we’re still so polarized that the Georgia runoff will have more effect on immediate nominations than might otherwise be the case in normal times,” said one Democratic foreign-policy insider, speaking on condition of anonymity.

If Democrats win a majority in the Senate, Biden will likely face more pressure from the left flank of his party to tap progressives to lead the State Department and other federal agencies. Rice was in the running to replace Hillary Clinton as secretary of state but withdrew her name from consideration following the controversies surrounding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attacks. Fox Reporter: ‘We’re Just Not Sure’ If Biden Or Trump Will Be Inaugurated In January

Nov. 11 - “Objective” White House correspondent John Roberts pretended that Donald Trump might have won the election, even though Fox called it for Joe Biden, no evidence of voter fraud has been found and Trump’s legal efforts have failed and are not expected to prevail in the future.

During his report, Roberts did his best to play up the possibility that Trump won. He reported that Trump is “driving this process forward” in challenging the results, “collecting affidavits and sworn statements from witnesses that they say is evidence that there were voting irregularities that happened last Tuesday and in the vote counting after that.”

Roberts kinda sorta admitted there’s no case while nevertheless suggesting otherwise. “What they really need to do,” Roberts said about the Trump team, is “get their hands on some of these ballots so that they can examine themselves and present that in a court of law or they need to have a body like the Supreme Court say, you know what, in Pennsylvania, the law stated that all ballots that come in after eight o’clock on Election night are invalid, therefore they would need to throw out the entire tranche of ballots if they really hope to make a difference.”

Roberts also hinted at how poorly the legal challenges have gone, while still suggesting that Trump is a victim of wrongdoing, saying, “What they really need to do” Roberts also said, is “catch a break in court.”     continue to read

Facebook and Google both banned political and social issue ads in the wake of the November election in an attempt to prevent abuse of their platforms, disinformation and confusion about the results.

Nov. 10, WASHINGTON — As President Donald Trump’s campaign continues its wild attempts to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s victory through a series of tenuous lawsuits, it was confronted on a call with the media on Tuesday with reports that one of its witnesses who had alleged ballot tampering had recanted his story.
What followed was several seconds of silence.

Then the campaign offered without evidence that perhaps the witness had been doxed — and that he wasn’t a big part of the case anyway.

Nov. 11 - The U.S. has surpassed 1 million new confirmed coronavirus cases in just the first 10 days of November, with more than 100,000 infections each day becoming the norm in a surge that shows no signs of slowing.

The 1 million milestone came as governors across the nation are making increasingly desperate pleas with the public to take the fight against the virus more seriously. The Wisconsin governor planned to take the unusual step of delivering a live address to the state Tuesday, urging unity and co-operation to fight COVID-19.

Trump campaign, RNC detail voter fraud in Pennsylvania, Michigan

Nov. 9 - President Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee detailed evidence Monday they claim reveals election violations in two battleground states, pointing to a federal court filing in Pennsylvania and 131 affidavits taken in Michigan alleging wrongdoing.


RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel announced two new lawsuits were filed Monday by people working in Detroit.


A whistleblower with information about being instructed to backdate ballots on Nov. 4 also relayed that information to the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan.

“With somebody backdating ballots, that is illegal,” she told reporters.

It is unclear, though, how many ballots may have been illegally altered in Michigan. The president is currently trailing presumptive President-elect Joseph R. Biden in the swing state by 146,123 votes, as ballots are still being counted.

The Michigan lawsuits, according to Ms. McDaniel, also claim an election employee in Detroit saw poll workers coaching voters on who they should vote for, urging straight Democratic ballots and joining the voters at the booths to watch them cast their ballots. During the past two weeks, this same employee was instructed not to ask any voter for photo identification.
“We should all be alarmed by this no matter where you’re at on the political spectrum,” Ms. McDaniel added.    source

Trump legal team to file lawsuits alleging voter irregularities, fraud

Nov. 10 - President Trump isn’t conceding the November election and is getting ready to unleash a number of lawsuits this week alleging voter fraud and irregularities, as his legal team has already filed disputes in five battleground states.

The increase in litigation comes as Mr. Trump trails President-elect Joseph R. Biden in a handful of swing states by less than 1% as mail-in ballots continue to be counted.

Several news outlets, however, called the race for Mr. Biden on Saturday.

“Since when does the Lamestream Media call who our next president will be? We have all learned a lot in the last two weeks!” Mr. Trump tweeted on Sunday.

Rudolph W. Giuliani, the president’s personal attorney, noted three of the broader legal issues they’re raising in court challenges include backdating of late mail-in ballots, allegations of dead people casting votes and Republican poll watchers denied access to observe tabulations at various locations.

“I think we have enough to change Pennsylvania,” Mr. Giuliani said. “It would be wrong for [Mr. Trump] to concede.”

Mr. Giuliani plans to file more lawsuits Monday, saying they could target between four to 10 different states.     source
