After damaging emails from the computer were published in October, which purported to show Hunter introducing his father to his business partner in Ukraine, conspiracy theories began swirling online that the repair shop story was a cover and that the content had been passed to Trump's lawyer by Russian hackers.
Some even speculated that Mac Isaac could be himself a spy.
