Former Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell asks judge to order Georgia to 'de-certify' Biden victory

Nov. 28 -  Sidney Powell, the former Trump campaign lawyer challenging the president’s loss to Democratic rival Joseph R. Biden, asked a federal judge in Georgia to reverse the results of the race there Friday.

Ms. Powell, who sued various state and election officials in federal court Wednesday, subsequently filed an emergency motion requesting Mr. Trump be named the winner of Georgia’s presidential race.

Georgia has already certified the results of the presidential election for Mr. Biden, but Ms. Powell wants the court to intervene and issue an order requiring state officials to reverse course.     continue to read

Georgia Republicans panicked they are blowing their chances to hold onto both Senate seats: report

Nov. 28 - On Saturday, NPR reported that Georgia Republicans are worried that their own party’s attack on the election process in the state — including by Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler — could undermine their chances of holding those Senate seats in the runoff, and by extension, the GOP’s majority in the chamber going into the Joe Biden presidency.

“The state’s Republican election officials have repeatedly asserted there’s been no evidence of widespread fraud,” reported Emma Hurt. “But incumbent Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler have called on Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to resign without evidence. President Trump has also criticized Raffensperger and called out Republican Governor Brian Kemp, who received Trump’s endorsement in 2018.”     continue to read

New York Times: Justice Department probed Georgia Sen. David Perdue's stock sales at beginning of pandemic

Nov. 26, (CNN) - The Justice Department opened a probe into Georgia Sen. David Perdue's stock sales for possible insider trading earlier this year but declined to pursue charges, according to The New York Times.

The inquiry looked at Perdue's sale of more than $1 million worth of stock in Cardlytics, a financial company he once served as a board member of, in the spring ahead of the economic slowdown fueled by the coronavirus pandemic, the newspaper reported. Weeks after selling the stock, the company's stock price dropped and ended up at $29. Perdue then bought back portions of the stock he sold, which are now trading at $120 a share, according to the Times. Citing four people with knowledge of the case, the newspaper reported that investigators were reviewing Perdue's trading for "possible evidence of insider trading."     continue to read

Pennsylvania Bombshell: Biden 99.4% vs. Trump 0.6%
Stunning testimony that the media has dutifully ignored.

Nov. 29 - There are landslides and then there are landslides. There are lopsided votes and then there are lopsided votes. There are egregious examples of vote manipulation and then there are really egregious examples of vote manipulation. What surfaced during hearings in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on November 25, 2020 may set the standard for electoral outrageousness. An expert testifying to the Pennsylvania Senate flagged a batch of ballots that recorded some 570,000 votes for Joe Biden and only 3,200 for Donald Trump.

Yes, you read that correctly. That would equate to Joe Biden bagging 99.4% of that enormous chunk of votes. That one batch alone would have flipped the state to Biden.     continue to read

Trump news – live: President loses Pennsylvania appeal as he backtracks on vow to leave peacefully

Nov. 28 - Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the election results suffered a severe blow on Friday when a judge he had appointed in Pennsylvania ruled against his fraud appeal.

A blistering ruling from Third District’s Stephanos Bibas – a Trump-appointed judge – said “free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy.”

“Charges of unfairness are serious,” he said in his ruling on Friday. "But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here."

One of his lawyers, Jenna Ellis, said they will take their case to the Supreme Court.

Earlier on Friday Mr Trump, currently playing golf, tweeted en route to his Virginia course that Joe Biden must first “prove” that all of his “ridiculous” 80 million votes were obtained legally, before claiming the White House.

Mr Trump’s admission on Thursday that he would leave if Mr Biden won the electoral college made headlines worldwide - despite the fact that it should not have been necessary to state.

The president on Friday appeared irritated by the response, and tweeted: “Biden can only enter the White House as President if he can prove that his ridiculous “80,000,000 votes” were not fraudulently or illegally obtained. When you see what happened in Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia & Milwaukee, massive voter fraud, he’s got a big unsolvable problem!”     source

Supporters of President Donald Trump rallying for an unreal event: the theft of an election.
The assault on Biden’s presidency has already begun

Nov. 26 - Reality appeared to hit US President Donald Trump this week when the General Services Administration gave approval for the transfer of presidential power to President-elect Joe Biden to begin. But don't be fooled: reality will not be where Trump wages a long campaign against Biden.

The assault will be conducted in the realm of unreality, as Trump's Twitter account shows. "Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good fight, and I believe we will prevail!" "RIGGED ELECTION!" "2020 is a long way from over". He participated by phone in hearings in the Pennsylvania State Senate on the issue of "massive voter fraud".

The disconnect with the facts on the ground recalls how Trump questioned president Barack Obama's citizenship during his terms in office. Now Trump is again trying to create something – the perception of a "stolen" election, charges of illegitimate power, Biden "voter fraud" claims – from nothing.

It appears to be effective, too. While one-third of US voters believe Biden won because of voter fraud, 77 per cent of Republicans believe that's the reason for his victory, according to a Monmouth University poll.     continue to read

Trump campaign lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani claimed Nov. 19 that President Trump lost the election because of a baseless conspiracy theory.
Congressman seeks to have Rudolph Giuliani disbarred over attempts to overturn election

Nov. 24 - In the three weeks since Election Day, Rudolph W. Giuliani has waged a prodigiously unsuccessful legal fight on behalf of President Trump’s campaign to overturn the election results. Giuliani’s bizarre news conferences and literal meltdown became fodder for late-night talk show hosts, while his even more bizarre legal arguments have prompted federal judges to unleash withering rebukes.

Giuliani and the rest of the efforts of the Trump campaign’s legal team won’t shift the election results in the president’s favor, but legal ethicists such as Scott Cummings of the UCLA School of Law do not view the former New York mayor as harmless.      continue to read

Trump invites Pennsylvania GOP lawmakers to White House after calling in to baseless voter fraud event

Nov. 25 - ..."Speaking Wednesday as a witness via speakerphone during the event, Trump once again falsely claimed that he won the 2020 presidential election. He made unproven, unspecified allegations of voter fraud, ballot dumping and voter suppression against his supporters.

State and local election officials have said there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud, and both a federal court and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court have dismissed lawsuits seeking to prevent the state from certifying the results of the election. Pennsylvania officially certified the results on Tuesday, sealing Biden's win in the key battleground state."...     source

President-elect Biden Delivers Thanksgiving Address

President-elect Joe Biden delivered a Thanksgiving address from Wilmington, Delaware. He acknowledged how tough it is to forego holiday traditions and gatherings due to the pandemic and urged everyone to take necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Biden calls for unity in fighting COVID-19 in his pre-Thanksgiving speech

Nov. 26 - U.S. President-elect Joe Biden called for a united effort against COVID-19, addressing the country on the eve of Thanksgiving.

His remarks are once again focused on combating the pandemic, as the country grapples a powerful autumn resurgence.
Biden urged people to stay safe by taking precautions -- keeping social distance and wearing face masks.

But he also called for what some may consider a greater sacrifice -- avoiding big family gatherings, as he himself pledges to do so.

"This year, we're asking Americans to forgo so many of the traditions that we've long made this holiday, which made it so special for our families for 40 such years we're going to be having a separate Thanksgiving for Jill and I will be at our home in Delaware with our daughter and our son-in-law."

He also delivered condolences to those who have lost a loved one, saying "I know that this time of year can be particularly difficult. I remember the first Thanksgiving and the empty chair, the silence. It takes your breath away".

Biden had lost his wife and his daughter in a tragic car accident before marrying Jill Biden.

Biden also reaffirmed his victory and transition, while President Trump has yet to make an official concession.

"In America, we have full and fair and free elections. And then we honor the results. People of this nation and the laws of the land won't stand for anything else."

The remarks come as Americans prepare for Thanksgiving as the COVID-19 death toll surpassed a quarter of a million, and hospitalizations saw record highs for the second straight week.

Millions of Americans, despite an anti-travel advisory from authorities, have flocked to airports and highways.    sources

William Barr’s Lame-Duck Execution Spree Is Unprecedented

Nov. 24 - Last week, the Trump administration announced that it would continue to carry out executions in the days and weeks leading up to the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, with the last one now scheduled just five days before Biden takes office on Jan. 20, 2021. This bloodthirsty decision is another and particularly grotesque way in which President Donald Trump and his Justice Department are defying the norms and conventions for modern presidential transitions.

The Death Penalty Information Center reports that the last time an outgoing administration did anything remotely similar was more than a century ago, in 1889. At that time Grover Cleveland, the first Democrat to be elected president after the Civil War and the only president ever to have served as an executioner (when he was the sheriff in Erie County, New York), permitted three executions to proceed in the period between his electoral defeat and Benjamin Harrison’s inauguration in March 1889.     continue to read
Sidney Powell: "Massive" Georgia Lawsuit Coming By Wednesday, We Will See The Trump Presidency "Saved"

Nov. 24 - Pro-Trump attorney Sidney Powell said the Trump presidency will be "saved" with a "massive" lawsuit in Georgia she plans to drop by Wednesday. Powell contended Trump was "elected in an absolute landslide nationwide" in an interview Tuesday with Lou Dobbs.

"I think no later than tomorrow," Powell said of the lawsuit. "It's just going to be -- it's a massive document. And it's going to have a lot of exhibits."

"Do you think that we're going to see the Trump presidency saved?" Dobbs asked.

"Yes, I definitely do," Powell answered. "There's no issue in my mind but that he was elected in an absolute landslide nationwide."

"There's no doubt that the software was created and used in Venezuela to control the elections and make sure that Hugo Chavez was always reelected as the dictator of Venezuela, in what appeared to be -- quote -- "free and fair elections" -- end quote," she said. "But they were manipulated by the software used in the Dominion machines and used by other machines in the United States, frankly. And we are just continuing to be inundated by evidence of all the frauds here, and every manner and means of fraud you could possibly think of."     continue to read
